THE DREAM SNATCHER

The marks, the beating thyme of the drums, the shaking of the rattles, and the dark whispers from the shadowless figure. The Dream Snatcher is calling!
This is a tale of twists and turns, a story of the brave and the dangerous, this is the tale of Moll Pecksniff and her wildcat Gryff.
I read this book in two and half days, it could be the fact it was a only 278 pages long or because I just couldn't put it down. This was a whirlwind of an adventure and all I could do was dive in. I didn't really know what to think of it when I first started but as the story progressed I found myself beginning to fall in love with the characters and the danger they faced.
The Dream Snatcher is the first book in a three book series, each one facing different dangers and darkness. I have only just finished reading the first book but I'm itching to get the second, The Shadow Keeper, as soon as I get time to pop up to the nearest Waterstones.
Even though the Dream Snatcher was great Sky Song will still have a place in my heart! The way Abi writes is like watching magic unfold in front of your eyes. She gets all the right details in the right places, and makes the emotions feel real.
My only problem is that it might be too dark and scary for younger readers because even I was a bit shocked at how dark this book was. I would still highly recommend this book though, because its got a story that simple must be read.
A 4 out of 5 book read....
